Elite Fit Skegness: Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Elite Fit Skegness! By using our facilities, you agree to the following terms and conditions, designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for all members and staff.

Opening Hours

24-Hour Access for Members

Members with 24-hour access can enter the gym anytime using their personal key fob, unless otherwise notified via email.

Please note: The gym is unmanned outside standard hours. The supplement shop is unavailable, and training is at your own risk. CCTV operates 24/7.

Non-Member and Under-18s Opening Times

Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 18:00

Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00

Sunday: Closed

Bank Holidays: Open to all members, Closed for non-members

Members must complete their workout and exit before closing time.

Food, Drink, Smoking & Drugs

Food may only be consumed in the reception area.

Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

Elite Fit Skegness is a non-smoking facility. Please move away from the entrance when smoking outside.

Clothing & Footwear

Wear appropriate footwear and clothing for safety. Open-toe sandals, flip-flops, dirty work boots, and loose/unsafe clothing are not allowed.

Changing Rooms & Lockers

Changing Facilities: A large bathroom and shower room are available for changing.

Lockers: Free lockers are provided for valuables. Use them to safeguard your belongings as Elite Fit Skegness is not liable for loss, theft, or damage.

Lost Property: Items left overnight will be held for one week and donated to charity if unclaimed.

Lost Property

Members are responsible for their belongings. CCTV footage is reviewed only for serious incidents, not for misplaced items.

Access & Evacuation

Entry/Exit: Use the main reception entrance turnstile. The bi-fold doors are not for member use.

Emergency Evacuation: Use the nearest available exit (main door, bi-fold doors, or fire exit). Personal belongings should be left behind.

Children & Minors

Children under 14 are not allowed in the gym.

Student Memberships: Available for ages 14-17.

In rare cases, under-14s may wait in the reception/lounge area, but staff are not responsible for their safety.

Behaviour

Show respect to members, guests, and staff. Nuisance, inappropriate behaviour, or facility misuse will result in removal and possible membership termination.

Abusive language, threats, or violence will not be tolerated.

Photography of others without consent is prohibited. Complaints may lead to a request to delete unwelcome photographs.

Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)

All members must complete an up-to-date PAR-Q via the Clubright app.

This ensures staff can respond appropriately in emergencies. Seek medical advice before starting a new exercise programme. A doctor’s certificate may be required for membership approval.

Membership Terms & Cancellation

Membership Options

Fixed-term memberships (day/week/month passes and 12-month memberships)

Rolling memberships (monthly direct debit)

Key Points

Refunds: Not available for unused fixed-term memberships.

Failed Payments: Rolling memberships require direct debit payments on the 1st of each month. Failed payments result in revoked access until cleared.

Cancellation: Submit a 30-day notice via an exit form found on our website. Payments due within the notice period must be cleared. Access remains available until the final date.

Freezing Memberships: Available for 1-3 months for eligible memberships. Requests must be emailed at least one week in advance.

Sunbed Terms & Conditions

Eligibility: Sunbed use is restricted to members aged 18 and over. Proof of age may be required.

Usage Limitations: Members may use the sunbed only once per day. Recommended time limits per session, as displayed on the sunbed instructions, must be followed.

Health & Safety: Ensure you are not wearing any cosmetics or perfumes before using the sunbed. Protective eyewear must be worn during every session.

Responsibility: Members use the sunbeds at their own risk. Elite Fit Skegness is not liable for any adverse effects resulting from sunbed use.

Hygiene: Members must wipe down the sunbed before and after use with the provided cleaning materials.

Availability: Sunbeds are available for use only by 24-hour access members or non-members during non-member opening times.

Prohibited Use: Sunbeds are not to be used by individuals with skin conditions or those taking medications that increase photosensitivity.

Revoking Access & Barring

The Elite Fit Skegness team may revoke access or terminate memberships for inappropriate behaviour or unauthorized entry. Trespassing will be reported.

CCTV operates throughout the premises, including the car park.
